CityRP was released as a mistake, even in the opinion of those who released it. They want it gone, and so does more than 2/3 of the community, so to minimize the amount of whining done, Badspot decided he'd remove it when he sees it.

At least, that's my interpretation.

why would anyone want to jon one? you can build without limits on your own servers. there isnt even any role playing being done other then the gay little kids wanting to be your pet or something.

and hosting your own is just as pointless, its just power hungry kids who think there's some merit in controlling others on a lego game that want to waste the time.

I used to spend all my time on Titan's CityRP and it was fun.

I like some city rps like mctwists but the others are not very fun beccause everyone wants to jail you and you cant talk in jail thats my only problem with most city rpgs

So far my favorite City RPs are Cucumberdudes. The reason is that his is theonly one that i know of that uses transaction mod. (god that mod improves it much more, instead of having empty shops that need the owner to be there for it to be open)

No, there was a mod called PeopleMods_CityRP.

But either way, this is how a city RP(G) goes:
-You join server.
-Get killed by criminal on a vehicle as the cops helplessly chase after them, unable to harm the criminals without losing their jobs.
-You attempt to build but get killed by more criminals on vehicles.
-You become a police officer thinking you can catch the criminals.
-You pick up a gun and shoot at the criminals, only to realize you get in trouble for this.
-The handicapped cop approaches you with the golden hammer, as if the real criminals are no longer problems, and jails you.
-handicapped cop gets killed.
-Admin goes on killing spree, and bans handicapped cop because he jailed the admin.
-You become a criminal and begin shooting people while on vehicles.
(If vehicles aren't available, replace it with towers. Not all servers will have admins killing and resetting constantly.)

In the later versions of Iban's RPG, he had various "criminal" classes that would be able to perform the actions you really need to do but without getting in trouble.  For example, you had a police officer, which was both the most useless and annoying class ever, but you also had the bounty hunter, which was the same, but his job was unaffected by any criminal record.

When RPGs are done right, which has almost never happened in Blockland, it really is really fun.  But too often, this is the situation I face when joining a server.

I'm only going to say yes becuase it's a public RPG mod.

But also, my issue was the fact that criminals are pretty well invincible, unless attacked by another criminal.
