I'm going to attempt to make a castle defence type level. I plan to have enemies that spawn from emitters, and I'm going to use MM's design to make it gradually spawn catapults and/or canons. Developing the enemies and their inner workings on paper today, and I'll try and make them in-game this week.

Any of you guys have any suggestions?

Anyways, I came up with an automated catapult that fires burning logs/large rocks/explosives. Going to use magnetic switches in the floor to start the firing sequence in them, and another to make them stop moving.

Now starting on the generic soldiers.

You could have a system for the longer you survive, switches open up and when you click them, Base defense weapons come out like turrets. If you need help, invite me because I am a good builder.

Yeah, whenever I start actually making it I'll be sure to invite you. But that might not be for a week now, as I can't use the PS3 for a bit.
But yeah, I'll be using a super slow moving piston with a mag.key on it and mag.switch's along it's path to raise turrets/defensive traps.
