Haven't gotten anything since I woke up this morning at 5:30, and it's 9:10 here now.
I think I'm going to delete all of my non-Sniper/Spy duplicates...

Truce, what is that 7th item on your first row? Looks like a soldier's new hat. Or the engy's mining helmet...... or is that the razorback?

Soldier hat definitely.

If anyone has extras for sniper/spy, hold on to them for me? :D

Delete them down to about 2 or 3 items

I cleaned it down so I only had copies of the Sniper/Spy unlocks.
Goodbye, my 8 Sandmans, my 5 Sandviches, and the others...

...but still no Razorback...

Wait do you get hats the same way? I have no hats D:

Hats are ALOT more rare then the weapons. ALOT.

69 hours of total time since the update, and it's done.
Well, aside from the other eight hats. Took me 55 hours to get one, so...

Someone has found out the code to unlock stuff, he just unlocked all the hats in 10 seconds.

Explanation time.

Alright, so as many people know, Valve has decided to use their Steam Cloud server to handle the new unlocks. This prevents people from using "console commands" to just get all of the items. However, since Steam Cloud is connected to the individual clients, only the clients know when they get items. This is why Valve put an event, vocabulary word, into the clients that tells the server they got an item. The server then announces it into the chat so everyone can admire the client.

This event is just the client telling the server that it got something. Just a message. A number of people, including myself, know how to trigger said event, and trick the server into making it think we got an item. We do not actually get the item, but the server doesn't know any better so it displays the message and everyone goes "WTF?"

Get it? ;)
