Author Topic: Port forwarding  (Read 616 times)

Ok, I tried to forward my ports.
I put it as "Range port forwarding"
I forwarded 28000- 28030
to ip 192 . 168 . 1. 1
And enabled.
Clicked save changes and it still don't work.
Did I do something wrong?

Start menu...

Go to run...

Type in "cmd"

In this DOS box, type "ipconfig /all"
Where it says "IP address", that should be the IP that ports are forwarded to.

For example, mine is 192.168.2.3

My ip changes so everyonce and a while i need to reforward. So you did you put in your ip and it is correct?

That's your LAN IP.

192.*.*.* addresses are for a local network.

You're talking about the other type of IP address, just um.. an IP address... such as
66.199.135.32

speaking of this can you forward to 10.10.10.XXX ip if you live in Alabama, Someone Said No

IPs are based on location and ISP.

My grandpa has Optimum and lives in Queens.
I have Optimum and I live in central New Jersey.

I have an IP ranging from 67 or 69(never 68)
He has an IP always at 69
