Author Topic: Pain.png - stick to walls/floor and bricks  (Read 688 times)

when a Player is Hurt/Killed the 'pain emote' would stick to walls, floors even bricks.
Is this code possible at all? It would call for the Pain emote and would use what ever png.file was in your folder.
 Hopefully Client side


I know bullet holes are possible So this can be done  maybe?

Do you mean by blood on the walls after a player is killed?If so I like it.

This is what I was thinking, but then again, so were the bullet holes. You could probably set-up a code so that the bricks within a certain distance became blood spattered when you got killed/hurt.

Projectiles can leave "bulletholes", but it only works on a very select few terrains and does not work on bricks. Otherwise you could simply have Blood splatter bullets that shoot out short distances and cover the place with blood bullet-hole decals.

Just what I need, my build covered in OUCH from someone who got stuck in it and Self Deleted.

It might make sense with that "blood" one (if the particle is remade to be a single droplet and the emitters too), but not the default Blockland OUCH signs.

The "ouches" should disappear after awhile then.

He means blood splatter.

You would need to use projectiles and DecalData to make them stick to the floor. However, DecalData is being removed in V12.
