They used a credit card to fix my processor.... A credit card.. They are just over all unprofessional. Also, if they are the best support team.. I feel kinda scared to go anywhere else.
Also he won't work on laptops. That's double points on my book (if you have ever had the pleasure of working on one you'd know why it makes you sound smarter when you say you're not going to mess with them.)
I've replaced parts in my laptop and it's really easy. Except the processor.
Yeah, that would be good.
Don't get a laptop.Build your own PC. Desktop..BUT DONT DO IT AT FRYS. Ahem... As i was saying..I just built a PC for about the following..Mother Board ----$50AMD x4 920 ----$190Barbone PC/case ----$20RAM (2 2gig cards) ----$40Nvidia 9500 GT ----$60hardrive(160gig) ----$30Monitor --- 100$Total: $490And its wayyy better than a loving lap top that would cost around... 900$?
I was wondering and didn't feel like starting a new topic for a related question, would this be a good enough video card for a gamer who plays WoW, Steam games, Blockland and other games:nVidia GeForce 9800GT 512MB
Haha.I owned two Gateway M675 laptops (one was an M675PRR), and right upon removing the screws for the fans and taking off the fan, the processor sits right there.
Lucky you, mine has a series of heat sinks over the fan with the processor several inches away using a heat transfer system to get the heat to the fan. It's the price we pay for flat computers that they are completely fubar.
