If the master servers did break a bit, You could auth fail. Then your server would disconnect, So nothing wrong with that advice :P

If the master server was down, the servers would be inaccessible. Or at least that is how I look at how blockland runs.

Nothing was wrong. I think Ephi was pulling a prank or something. People were all "OH MAH GAWD 3 SERVERS AND 10 PEOPLE JUST WENT OFFLINE IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD!!!!1!!1!"
