Author Topic: The Sucky Systems  (Read 1929 times)

I can't believe all the systems I'm missing out on. All I have is an N64, Supernintendo, a GameCube, a couple DS Lites, a Gameboy Color, a Gameboy Advance SP, and a Wii(but we barely have any good games for it). Could someone please tell me the good systems I should buy? I know I want an XBox 360, and a PS3. Are there any other new systems I should get?

xbox 360 elite < xbox 360 < xbox original
i prefer the original gameboy advanced to the SP
PSP is good
so is the sega genesis (if you can find one)

a couple DS Lites
Boy, you really need more then one. I mean, two screens are not enough. Let's make it four.

The only real good systems are the PSP (CFW), DS (R4 or some other one), and the Xbox360. PS3 is decent (Has a few awesome games aka WarHawk) and the Wii didn't live up to the hype in my opinion. I have all of those except for the PS3.

Don't get an Xbox 360, they suck i have had 6 of them, after about an hour of play they blew up. Well one just wouldnt read games.

You're handicapped. That's the only excuse that could possibly even justify anything you just said.

Get a 360, and upgrade your PC.

BETTER PC.

Problem solved.

Besides, a lot of good games on the 360 are also on the PC. If you have the equipment to run them, they can be just as fun.

Get a PC. If you already have a PC, get better hardware.

My laptop is almost done turning into an XP. My dad just has to find out how to get the wireless internet to work.

Then your doing some seriously loving wrong.

Get a Desktop PC

Laptops suck for gaming

My dad won't let me. >:(

He said "You got what you wanted now go mess with your brothers computer."

I'm on my brother's old computer right now, which is the same computer he meant. It's a stuffty computer. You can't even run RuneScape HD. The best I could do is RuneScape LD, and still have a little bit of lag. Same with YouTube videos, can't do HD or it lags.

I want my old computer back, but my dad won't let me put it back in my room. He can't use my brother's computer why? Why didn't he take my brother's computer in the first place? To piss me off? All he does is do some work on it(which you could easily do on this computer)and some Party Poker or something, which isn't any fancy shmancy full-screen game either, but something you could easily run on this stuffty computer with no lag.

I tried playing HL2DM on this computer on Recommended settings, and it lagged like hell. Immediate removal of Steam.

And one last thing. What's worse, he's not even trying to fix my computer! All day today he did not one thing with my computer. Not ONE THING.

EDIT: What does my old computer have to do with anything? It could actually run RuneScape HD, and most likely be able to run HL2DM, because it didn't lag on Combat Arms when I played it. Did I also mention Blockland(yes, Blockland)even runs laggy on this computer?

Technically they couldn't "blow up" due to a lack of combustible materials. If, however, you mean that they simply stopped working I'd like to point out that if you really have owned six X-Box 360's and all six have failed then the problem is clearly caused by the user. Machines certainly don't have failure rates that bad, at least not without extenuating circumstances.

I'd suggest that perhaps the location you chose for the system was poor. Modern consoles require plenty of "breathing room" so stuffing it in a cabinet is just asking for trouble. Also, the way you treat the console matters too. If you beat it around or pile equipment on top of it then it may well be broken.

If you are still having trouble then why not consider watercooling the xbox360?

Assuming I had piles of money lying around and I had already finished upgrading my PC with all the gear I would like to...I would probably choose a PS3. Blu-ray movie playback, free online, a unique collection of games, ability to upgrade the system with non-proprietary components/firmware, and folding capability make it a decent option.

Save your money.

Buy a good computer.

If you're telling me that I should upgrade my PC, and that it costs money, I have more than $60 that I own right in front of me, and a lot more in my bank account,

Review Warning
I want to. But my mom and dad won't let me. It's stupid. Even if I DO pay for it.
