I've got another one: Biotic Carbine. Fires in 3 round bursts and each projectile does a continuous 5 damage every second for 3 seconds.

This weapon would drop around 5 tacks, give or take(then the weapon would disappear), and when a player would hit/touch one of them they would get a 5-10 damage reduction.
