Based on Eurogamers review, i would say that would be the worst mistake of your life.

I pre-ordered the game and played the day of release. Yes, it doesn't have all the features it was hoping for, but games like WoW didn't have all the features right away either. From what I've read of the patch notes, since I haven't renewed my subscription, it looks like it's coming a long nicely.

Eurogamers review is bullstuff, and if you read the Darkfall forums about that you'll see what they have to say. I read it and quite a few of the issues mentioned are not a problem with the game, the reviewer was just a moron.

Anyways, I'm personally waiting for a second realm to go online. I want to start fresh, without all the players gaining a lot from the exploits present early on.

I can say one thing about the game though, it's probably the most fun I've ever had playing an MMO.

ummm ok.

I've played it and let me tell you this, you need to join a Clan to do anything, theres no solo play.

Most clans only allow mature people in, meaning if your balls havent dropped yet you wont get in because they wont want you on ventrillo.

Basicly.... unless you can join a clan right away your first week is going to suck. I spent 4 days of saying wow this game sucks. Then i got into Murder Herd and i've been having a blast.

But honestly if your young you wont like darkfall, you'll be leftout.

ive brought myself down to Darkfall or Garrys Mod but i dont know if i should start playing right away for Darkfall because its brand new and i never knew you had to pay $50 dollars at first, because $50 isnt a pretty number and i wish there was a trial

Well I personally have gotten bored of garry's mod, and I haven't played Darkfall, but I personally think Garry's mod gets stale after you play it too much.

$50(ish) isn't the end of the world, and it looks like this mmo breaks away from the generic (again I haven't played it so I don't know for sure)  Get it, play it for a month, I mean the FULL month, and make a decision, If you don't like it, buy Garry's mod.
