Author Topic: Parents, tsk tsk tsk  (Read 6434 times)

My mom saw me playing Battlefield 2, I was on the loadout screen, she thought that was bad.  Yep, I have annoying parents.

My parents don't care. So long as I have the ability to play it, I can play it. (More specifically, as long as I have the system for it or as long as my computer can run it.)

Also I've never liked GTA.

I hate my sensitive parents; they are way too sensitive. You guys got it good, with parents that laugh whenever someone's head gets blown off. I have to sneak EVERYTHING by my parents D:

My mom thinks its funny, like if shes in the room and I'm plang CSS, I'll be all "Hey mom watch this" and blow CC's brains out and my mom will just be like "OH MY GOD HAHAHA"
My dad is just like that, and my mom sometimes too :D

I remember playing GTA SA, and my dad came in and looked at me playing, laughed a few times when I was in a gang war, then turned to me and said:

"And this is why you stay away from black people. I'm glad this game is teaching you something."

Oh, by the way, my whole family is tribal. :D

My mom used to be a little wacky about M rated games and R rated movies, but then again, I was like 6. Once I turned like 8, I would go see PG-13 movies, and when I was 9 I saw R movies. I believe my first R movie was The Matrix. lol Ever since though they haven't really cared what I see and don't see or play and don't play.

I think they'd rather see me having love and doing drugs in a video game than doing it in real life like they used to do. (Ah the 70's)

Oh, by the way, my whole family is tribal. :D
Mine too :D

My mums happier with me shooting aliens too, But i told her that was tribal to aliens and now she doesn't bother.
lol tribal. XD

the only time my mom cared was when i was playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 and she walked in  and i was holding a gun and pointing it at someone... other than that my parents dont care.

I hate how parents over react to us having guns in a game andd shooting people. My mom is ok with aliens. (hl) but not ok with humans. (TF2)

I'm going to let me kids play those games when they are younger then how old I have to be for TF2. 18 wtf? I don't want to wait 2-6 years!

At least my dad doesn't care if I play Left 4 Dead.
buy bioshock then tell me about your parents reaction :D

My dad already letsme plays Bioschock. Infact I got it last Friday. I'm about to go to the farmers market level.

My parents is a lot like one of those moms who wouldn't let me get gta4 because she thinks it encourages violence in those who play it. If it has a cover picture with a dude that has a huge gun in his hand, then she is against it. She also thinks that grand theft auto 4 had a bunch of people with picket signs yelling for it to get banned. I had to literally beg her to let me get tony hawk underground 2 because it had mild language and blood. If only I had pushover parents like you guys, my life would be complete :D.

Haha, It was almost to easy to buy FATE. No begging. Yet it has Fantasy Violence and Animated Blood.

At a young age my parents let me play violent video games because they knew I was smart enough to know what's real and what's fake, If something happens and they blame it on video games, they're loving handicapped.
Same here.

My parents are smart enough to know that I know that there's a fine line between real and not real. Spychecking doesn't work well in real life anyway.

I played Half-life Opposing force when I was 6 or 7.

Ditto.

Lol.
