Author Topic: Help, I recieved a virus.  (Read 2055 times)

I scanned through it, and deleted my temporary internet files.

Once I went to a website that tried to mimic a windows folder window that suddenly started reporting all sorts of viruses, the best part was i was using a mac :d

I got that for a week, then it stopped because, whoever (if anyone) was actually doing it, they realized that I'm not a dumbass. (Through some weird-ass connection I've never heard of.)

I've been browsing on some sites, until I clicked one of them and a virus appeared, I've been aborting the connection with avast!. But then Security Center pops up and says that I don't have a virus protector. I knew it was a lie, and used task manager to remove the website. Is the virus still in?

There is a new virus that will remove and prevent you from adding a anti virus. Better hope you dont have it

just call Microsoft Support Center (I think that's who we called)
cause we got something similar to this a while back, and they walked us through removing it using the Command Prompt.

Here's what you do.

1: Take out your hammer

2: Hit keyboard repeatedly with hammer

3: ???

4: No more virus.
