Bamboo -> Paper -> Books -> Bookcase Blocks

3 bamboo in a row makes paper, 3 paper in a row makes a book. 1 (horizontal) row of wood, a row of books and another row of wood makes a bookcase.

Clay -> Bricks -> Brick Blocks

Smelt clay (the white block near water) in a furnace to get bricks. Craft 4 to get a block.

I'm playing minecraft on a new computer, and it is extremely laggy and really fast. What solves this?

Its a good thing slimes only spawn deep down in caves, because they would be horrible on the surface.

Limit framerate, you probably lag because the world is generating new terrain

No, I mean it runs too fast. Not the framerate, it literally runs twice as fast.
