OH DEAR GOD

I'm on easy (i can't stand the creepers on any other setting) and i was looking at 2 skeletons with an iron sword,ready to kill them for arrows,when suddenly (i had my sound off) i go and look at a zombie and SUDDENLY CREEPER and the creeper annihlated a tree i was hiding behind and a mound of dirt.

I wasn't harmed,thanks to my combination of gold,leather,and iron armor,which only took half a armor piece.

EDIT: Then the skeletons chased after me,i did some damage to both of them and one shot the other and they got into a battle,in which the one standing in front of me won,conveniently.

Gold armor sucks, Use gold for decorations and use wood for armor.

You can't use wood as armor.

That's Leather from cows.

And if you didn't notice i have leather armor. Gold in my case is useless other than for armor/decoration.

Gold can be a great armor replacer underground where there's no leather and you have no other armor making materials.

And i don't really care for decoration in singleplayer where everything doesn't care about artwork and rather wants to kill you.
