mine's been doing this too

I think one of the server mods or a server update causes it because my client is still really stable in singleplayer.

I'm downloading the HD fix specifically so I can make the mushrooms magic mushrooms, and reeds weed plants.
Basically a drug world.. might make the sky purple and rainbowy too :D

Solution: Go underground at night and mine. It isn't that much less dangerous than just walking around on the surface at night, but it gives you something to do and it is actually less dangerous than the surface because it's less open, so stuff can't jump out at you as easily.
