No, biomes do not change (Unless climate change occurs you damn hippies) but if you go far enough into one direction, the biome will change. Think of it how it's always cold in the arctic and how it's always dry in the desert and they are separated by space

well, obsidian isn't flammable, so ghasts can't. and you can't blow it up, so creepers can't.

i wish obsidian replaced the diamond pickaxe and stuff :c
then with diamond it would last longer, then if you make a diamond pickaxe with diamond blocks, it would last forever, now that would be nice :D
