Pathfinding mobs for fun and profitThere’s an early version of some mob pathfinding up on indev.All mobs will home in on the player if you get within 24 tiles of them, and they SHOULD avoid huge cliffs and lava and so. Indev update: Fully functioning bows and mobsAnimals only spawn in bright areas. Monsters only spawn in dark areas.This means you can make caves safer by placing a lot of torches.I tweaked the path finding around a bit, it should use less resources now, but there’s still a lot of optimization possible to be done there.Oh, and the enemies are more difficult this time around, with creepers being more difficult to exploit, spiders being nastier (I think?), and generally just hiding out around corners, ready to bite your eyes out.Yes, I know it’s difficult.
