Someone should make a 3rd party program for minecraft that lets you plan builds on a 3d blank slate. When you're finished it should tell you how many blocks you used and it should have a drop down menu to select blocks.

Amazingly good site with a private SMP server. Register there, read the SMP server rules and then PM "Robin" (The site admin) asking to be whitelisted. Brilliant server, brilliant community.

BTW, If you PM Robin for whitelist tell him I (Acid) recommended you. You'll get a faster add. :)
