Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a serious anxiety-related
condition that affects as many as three in a hundred people – from young children to older adults - regardless of gender and social or cultural background. Sufferers often go undiagnosed for many years, partially because of a lack of understanding of the condition, and partially because of the intense feelings of embarrassment, guilt and sometimes even shame associated with what is often called the ‘secret illness’.
You see, I just found the website you got that off of, and you still didn't define it. OCD is NOT
- Keeping things symmetrical
- Keeping things organized
- Cutting down trees all the way
OCD is when you are in your 10 minute long Minecart ride, and you think you forgot to close the door at the beginning. You're breaking down because you are sure you closed it, but you think you didn't. You get off the minecart and walk the 10 minute walk back to the door, and close each door in that minecart station at least 10 times to make sure you know they are all closed.
