Actually the best strategy is to have an underground base and transport resourses to an militairy camp which Will deceive people into thinkthing that there is a whole city on that spot.
So you can keep your valuables at your U-base.
Oh wow u-base.

I don't see the point in two active bases. We should have another base, but we shouldn't use it, it should be a reserve base for if we do get attacked, not an active base far away.

I actually see a problem in having just one base. Simply too many people. The base is too active. So we are just abandoning Cyanian's base?

We'll add Nether support to SMP in 1.6. I have no idea when 1.6 is getting released, so you might as well get used to 1.5 for a while. ;)

Nether has been working fine in SMP since 1.3 I think. Several servers, including crafting factions, has it.

Wait what? Cyanian's base (base 4?) where the doors were blocked with cobble is now abandoned and the coordinates are known to our enemies? So the base is compromised? Why not just grab everything we need, mash up the place and unclaim the land?
