Okay, got mah' bucket o' water.. (It was hard finding iron..) Now what do I do? Dig the blockls under me down down until I find a cave?
NEVER DIG DOWNFind a natural cave on the surface.
Well, the place I got the ore from is pretty close just behind the mountain my house is infront of. Plus, its filled with water but the ground above is nothing.. Its like a underground pond.
What I do is find cave complexes while mining and explore them until I find lava, which most caves at lower levels have. The best way to find caves (in my experience) is branch mining, which is when you dig to Bedrock and make a 2x3 hallway, with 1x2 or 2x2 halls branching off from the main hallway.
Im on peaceful since I want to go to nether quickly, I just dug about 100 blocks into MC's surface and no lava. :c
Back, after a month, but anyways, what the forget is a natural obsidian portal doing in the middle of no where?
