I don't know if this is late, or if I missed something, but I just got the server software re-downloaded, I checked server.properties, and saw a new line, I hadn't seen before:

allow-flight=false

If you have a flying mod, setting allow-flight to true will allow you to fly in the server.  Otherwise you'll be booted when you try.

You will need Shears to get wool from sheep. Which is a loving handicapped thing to have.

But, im hoping you can use them to cut leaves and use them to build.
