I think that's gonna be the only way you'll be able to kill it, without traps and such.

As far as Notch has described it, Enderman sounds overpowered. So it'd be smartest for Mojang to put something like just keeping the reticle on him to keep him frozen so you can kill him.

Started raining in my Wasteland world. Got my first pick, saved wood by having a creeper blow some stone out of the ground so I could skip the wood pick. Planning on moving into one of the ruined houses, also got the bonemeal to grass mod, so I should have a small underground garden soon.

I always start my worlds off by going to the highest possible ground, and only go to mine once I have enough surface supplies to keep myself alive.

I only make houses in multiplayer. In single player I dwell in caves and mine all day long.
