I really don't get why people like dokucraft so much, it looks ghastly to me. But whatever floats your boat.
I only like 16x packs and I generally only like things that are not to different from the original style.
I like the default textures a lot. I just like to change a couple things.

Dokucraft Light is pretty. Painterly is also nice if you know how to use it.
