There used to be a Zombie Siege page on the Minecraft Wiki.

I hope in 1.8 Part 2 it's implemented.

What it was is that once every month in Minecraft or so, the Moon would be red, and that one night you would have to fight hordes of zombies that can break away blocks, and survive until morning.

Something like that.

Tell him to just put it in the bin folder in his .minecraft folder and overwrite the old one. There's no reason why it shouldn't work.

I walked him through it, but it didn't work for some reason. I'll try to go over to his house today, and get it working.
