lol, installed 1.8 2 and it says "done loading" and stays that way forever.

Are you sure you installed the minecraft.jar and not the minecraft_server.jar?

yes. i installed the client. i made a new .minecraft (you know delete and startup) then after it finished loading i shoved that little guy in there and it didn't function

How is my video quality? I understand it is very bad when it is dark. Near the end I go outside so at least look there.

A bit dark but its 1080p, and it's pretty good.  I watch at most at 720p unless it's some super cool thing, then I go 1080p.
