Spider Jockey's spawn at Spider Spawns with a 1% chance. You can't seed them.

Just saw this while on the Obsidian page on the wiki. This probably still works in 1.8, at least I hope it does.

Obviously you build right by their spawn area. Sorry to say, but your fault, even if none of us would have thought to check. Try putting TNT and pressure plates a good distance from the building. :P

With the Pink Sheep Seed, I found two NPC villages near each other (Burned one down with lava bucket spam), a desert dungeon near the second village (which, as always, was flooded by sand), and just now, a medium size floating island above mountains.
