Holy crap.
The seed 666 will spawn you DIRECTLY facing a village.
The middle half of the village is in a little dirt canyon, and some houses are sticking out the side of the sides of the canyon.
You have to try it.
It also has long extending mountain ranges and stuff. Pretty cool. I tried this on Beta 1.8.1.

Can you make sure to tell people 1.8.1 earlier? I tried it in 1.9 Pre and I was literally face to face with a dirt wall, turning and jumping to find I'm between a swamp and plains. A very "-_-" moment. Get screenshots for me, I'm not deleting my bin folder again.

just get rid of the minecraft.jar and enable force update

that's exactly what the world is like, a swamp near a plain with a village in between.

i filled the 666 village with tnt, i filled each building with tnt and lit one on fire. it's completely gone.
