THIS IS FALSE.


This has been explained over a hundred times.  If you bought the game during Beta and onwards from there, you're still going to get content for loving free.

He had to take that clause out of the fine print in order to appease his lawyers.  Anyone who bought Alpha will be guaranteed that it's going to be free but if for some reason he needs to, he will charge it to Beta users.

Hell, I can't even think how he'll code in a DLC system.  Parts of the game missing?  That's going to be broken as hell.  How will SMP work with that?

Nick posted before I got to hit Post, and then my dad started pissing off the cat on purpose as usual which took away my attention. Anyone with an Alpha account, including gift codes generated in Alpha and applied to an account, has the guarantee. Anyone with a Beta or after account has the possibility of being charged without without any legal basis against it. But he doesn't plan on any content in such a way, he wouldn't want to, it was only for legal reasons.

Well, some people have a hard time digitizing income in an efficient manner. Like me, I don't have a way of getting my money online. Gift cards and crap like that take extra money. Just an annoyance. Mega-bear bought me the game.

I refuse to buy what already can be made better in a mod. Knowing notch it will probably be something bugged to high hell anyway.


To clarify what I mean; notch is creative and all, but his coding is pretty messy. It's the main reason that minecraft can manage to be hell on some good computers and smooth on some stuffty ones.
