technic pack and Im using the purebdcraft textures for it so it might not normally look like the purple gem that it looked like.

also, im now locked in an never ending battle with an eldritch tree.

its a Crystal fairy. or so i call them. they are so hard to kill dont bother to but if you do kill it its for Thuamcraft.

You don't. You just download the Technic game installer and it works as it's own Minecraft install with everything attached. (It still uses normal login, just everything is set up from the start. But it is its own game install.)

Is there any way to "create" animals? The island I'm on is not inhabited by anything except me and the mobs that spawn at night.

Technic sends me back to the Technic Launcher menu at random times (Like when I die, when I open the inventory, etc)

How to fix? Or is it just part of the whole "Beta"?
