My friend found this string wielding zombie.

They added a variable "CanPickUpLoot" for zombies, zombie pigmen, and skeletons. It is randomly added, allowing mobs to pick up items. Armor automatically equips, otherwise it goes to the hand, including weapons.

AKA that zombie had the variable and happened to walk over where a spider died, picking up string.
