you can't open iron doors without pressure plates/levers/buttons

plates must be right in front of the door unless you're using wires

buttons must be on the side of the door (or on top?) if you're expecting them to work

same goes with levers.

edit: just realized you can use coal for smelting

looks like I finally have a loving use for all of my stacks of it.
