As a pyro, it is YOUR SWORN DUTY to spy check a lot, especially near engineer's buildings.
The compression blast is great for blocking projectiles, trust me, but have a dispenser nearby.
The backburner loses as it gains. You lose compression blast and yet you gain the power to burn people from behind better.
Don't forget, compression blast DOES EXTINGUISH FIRE ON OTHER PLAYERS.

As a medic, always be on the lookout for a "MEDIC!" bubble that is on fire, this means that the person is on fire and needs help.

With the Spy, patients is key. Walk along side of walls to not bump into enemy players and alert them that you're a spy. If you want to get behind enemies without them noticing most of the time, jump a backwards to the closest spawn point (Like you're going to refill your ammo/heal/metal). This works 70% of the time and your chances increase if your disguised as the Engie. It also helps if your team is shooting in your general direction. OrangeX3 is a good place to do this. Use invisiblity wisely.

With the Sniper, KEEP MOVING. Standing still makes you an easier target for other snipers.

Use the Scout to make flag runs, get control points, and other hit-and-run jobs.

With the Engie, you have to watch your surrondings. If there aren't many enemies near by, build a dispencer so that you don't have to keep running back to get metal. If you're in a "danger zone", build a turret and get it to level 2. Then build a dispencer. After building a level 3 turret and dispencer, have your shotgun on the quick weapon switch key. Shoot anyone that starts to get close to your buildings.

Whenever I am a sniper, I never stand in one place. I follow the crowd into battle and position myself usually on top of something that has a quick area I can duck behind such as the 2fort forts. I make sure I get healed often so I can take those critical hits. Whenever I am Heavy I make sure I have a medic on me before I go out into battle. When I am an engineer, I make sure I build a dispenser near my sentries but out of shooting range. If a spy comes by and saps then, I can quickly heal them back to health. Also, put your Sentires in places that they can easily hit others, but others can't easily hit them. These are my stratagies and they work for me just fine.

The scout has an obvious name. His job is to look at what is happening and tell others. He is quck so he can run away and is great for CP and CTF captures.

The Soldier is meant to do most of the battling. He is supposed to kill people as best he can.

The pyro is supposed to do two things. One is to ambush and weaken players & groups to help with battle and the other is to get rid of the loners, weak/dieing players & spies.

The Demo is for Blocking up small passage ways and unused roots. Using his sticky bombs to distract and deny access to objectives and passages.

The heavy is for taking out large groups of attackers so that they will not achieve an objective.

The Engineer is for making small, simi mobile bases so players can rest and gain health and ammo. He also can provide transportation to said bases.

The Medic is to help heal players. He can keep the players going in the middle of battle to help achieve the objective.

The Sniper is like the Demo but for the big areas. The demo, taking out the use of small, outlaying passages. So the sniper is to clear the big areas such as the last point in Badwater. He takes out bts of the group to help with battle.

The Spy is for breaking up the defenses and offenses of the groups of players attacking. The creators intended to have players attack in more or less waves. The spy's job is to break up these waves so it is easyer to defend against them.

Biggest tip I could give is this. Don't die and learn to listen for things.

Also, soldier is used best when he's up on something and firing down at enemies.

And getting rid of Sentries/Enemies behind walls.

Enemies behind walls, yes. I have gotten rid of sentries with every class except scout. I have seen a video of it though.

Another tip: Don't go to any Orange maps (Other than my map, cp_orange_q) unless you want to find many many pre-pubescent kids screaming into the microphone

i never hear any and i always go on orange

get a huntsman :D
I got it the other day. 10 kills in the first 15 minutes of gameplay :D Btw, if you click-hold the Huntsman, get a pyro to set the arrow on fire. Fun.

That's one of the most fun courses!!! Usally it's not 10 year olds, it usally foreigners.

I hate Orange X and all that crap. What happened to the style and decent map making that is in TF2. We got two main styles. Basic, unfinished map is not one of them.
