I hate Orange X and all that crap. What happened to the style and decent map making that is in TF2. We got two main styles. Basic, unfinished map is not one of them.

It's not the style I like, it's the gameplay. Each round takes forever. You need to constantly change stratagies to be able to take over all the points because they all are out in the open. And the best part is is that every class can surprise you. I cap'd the final point with an Engie, by myself. And we were playing 16 vs 16.

Yeah, maps with basic layouts can offer some surprisingly good gameplay, which is why I also play Orange maps in DoD:S.

a "Rule" in every FPS game, never stand still unless your in a place no one but you knows how to get it and you have cover and nobody can see you. And if you're a sniper/heavy, you are a target for spies. and as a sniper, dont aim ahead of the person you're aiming at because you're worried about bullet lag. bullets in TF2 teleport into peoples heads when you aim at them. If you're new to TF2, you should start out with engineer or pyro. These are all my tips. (for 2fort :3)

Most weapons in TF2 are hitscan. Basically an instant travel bullet that will damage or affect any object that goes in front of the path first. Only weapons like the rocket launcher, nades, and any other large, slow moving projectile will move with some lag. So basically, if it shoots bullets, it is hitscan. There is no bullet to say, anything you see that travels like a bullet is an effect.

Wow, huntsman..... Here is what I can say, GET IT NOW! It's epic.

As a soldier and using the rocket launcher aim for the feet. that way if the target moves it'll still likely hit them if you aim in front of them

That also works for just about any FPS

WHo wants to know how to get a scoped huntsman?

No one. You can not get it.

As a Soldier you should aim at their feet, if the target is not moving, aim at the body itself.
As a pyro randomly shoot at your team mates and open areas to kill spies.

Actually....

1: equip sniper rifle
2: press the button to bring up the load out menu
3: change from rifle to huntsman
4: walk up to the suply cabinet (still zoomed in)
5: ????
6:profit

I found this out by myself about a week and a bit ago while I was trying to become a civilian sniper.  It works (you are zoomed in and you can shoot an all that) but I can't rember if it stays when you switch to any other weapons (and it is anoying to walk around zoomed in all the time).

That is a glitch. If you need to use a glitch to win, you are doing it wrong.

Anyone knows how you become a Soldier-Sniper?

That is a glitch. If you need to use a glitch to win, you are doing it wrong.

It sucks. It is the most useless glitch ever and I couldn't get a single hit with it. You see, other than the projectile ark, the arrow doesn't actually go to the middle of the scope. Not to mention how hard it is for a crappy sniper like me to navigate while zoomed in like that. I don't even play sniper at all! I'm a medic, spy, scout/pyro/demoman kind of person.
