If being gay was genetic, then how do people's children get a gay gene?  I'd think it'd be a LOT more uncommon, because usually straight parents don't have a strong gay gene.

I am sorry ephi. I just wanted to make sure idiots didn't say anything bad about you since it was brought up.

I believe it is areccessive gene.

Scientists have stated that there is nothing to lead to or support the theory of a "gay" gene.

In family guy there is :D.

I'd say it was probably a mix of environmental and genetic. I was at single-love schools from the age of 8 to 17 so I don't know what effect that might have, but I'm sure it does have one.

Being gay is stupid. Who wants something up their ass anyways?

women der but if your gay its still a choice (no im not gay but one of my friends is :P )

Well. Since some women become lesbains because they hate men and trust women more, perhaps trusting the same love more than the other can alter your loveuailty some what.

True, it's because people weren't born gay.

1: Learn some grammar please like where to but periods commas and such because you sound absolutely handicapped talking like this okay

2: If being gay was a choice, why the hell would someone choose it if they are hated so much?

It's called a recessive gene meaning you parents have it but it doesn't show. Learn about it in school.

They aren't choosing to be hated.

They aren't choosing to be hated.

What? I know. But if gays are so hated, why would someone want to be gay?

Gays aren't really hated.  As Ephialtes said, alot more people are tolerant of it.

I learned about it, but it isn't a recessive gene. Mainly because you've done it yourself.

According to your belief about recessive genes, if you're addicted to videogames, your parents must be.

All humans have an addiction to something, it just depends what from person to person so that's a pretty poor brown townogy. And on the topic of choosing to be gay - This is sort of true to an extent. Gay/bi people figure out something's up when they start getting attracted to guys (and girls) and from there you either have the option to just accept it and be cool with it, or suppress it and pretend like it never happened. For example, I know of a few people who admitted to being gay when they were around 40 and married. That works for some people but for others it just kind of eats away at you and in the end you either get over it and just accept it or go crazy. Talking from own experience again, I tried to ignore it for like 5 years but you've gotta get over it eventually - sooner the better i suppose.

But you don't get to choose who you're attracted to really, I just don't think it works like that.
