Author Topic: Argument with a family man  (Read 21167 times)

You still haven't read what I wrote.  And what I wrote, is fact that your statements on adam and eve is incorrect.  Because a paradox can only exist within probability.

I did not read what you wrote, because your assumed I was Christian, which I am not. But you probably are, like most forum users here. Read my post until you fully understand it.

Christianity as it is does appose it, however the Bible never says you can't be in love with another man. The Bible does specifically say no love for pleasure.

Omfg, thank you.

If you're against Homoloveuality, and believen adam and eve, then you're Christian.

And I'm atheist.  I don't believen paradoxes.

Also, I was only showing a simple fact about christianity.  Here's the biggest flaw:
The bible states that God exists.  Along with that, it states that this God wants you, or commands you, to believen the bible.  Which, if simplified, is a book telling you that a book must be correct.  And that, is a paradox.

Omfg, thank you.
Thank you?  Then why are you against homoloveual marriage?

How the forget is that a paradox?

Ok, let's get this straight right here, "believen,' is not a word. I am not Christian, I just used that example. I do not support gay marriage because it forgets up are society. I made 2 Christian references, they do not mean I am Christian.

How the forget is that a paradox?
There is no source.  It's like saying "The bible is correct, because the bible says the bible is correct.  So the bible is correct, because the bible is correct, and that's only because the bible says it's correct, because the bible is saying it's correct."  And you can go on, and on, and on.

Being technical?  You used the word "are" wrong.  You meant "our."

And, lol, it forgets up our society.  You're very arrogant.

I'm not following.

OK, thank you for explaining that.
I for one do not wish to live word for word from the Bible, as I know it was written by man. Man is flawed thus the Bible is flawed. I apologize if I don't fit your description of a usual Christian.

There are many more references I can go get from the Christian bible, but I won't. Lalam will take me on from a Christian point of view.

a paradox is where something contradicts itself at the same time as proving itself. aka- Schrodinger's cat, as well as going back in time and killing your grandfather.

Nitpicking, are we?  I can say hetero Marriage forgets up many things.  Weddings waste alot of money, do they not?  Isn't that bad for America's economy?

A paradox is something that contradicts itself.  It doesn't need to prove itself at the same time.

First definition I found on google:
(logic) a statement that contradicts itself; "`I always lie' is a paradox because if it is true it must be false"

That is what the bible does.

I lol'd at that article. The thing say it was meant to say that gay marriage is bad for small business, but no where in the article does it say anything to support this claim. loving conservatives. xP
