Nitpicking, are we?  I can say hetero Marriage forgets up many things.  Weddings waste alot of money, do they not?  Isn't that bad for America's economy?

Correction; spending is good for an economy.

People in the US can buy things that aren't from the US, just so you know.

For one, if love wasn't pleasurable, then we'd have no urge to reproduce. We'd all die out.

Second, if you don't like gays, ignore them and stop attacking their beliefs and such. You don't just jump into a middle of a loving couple and say "this is wrong, stop it!" You shouldn't do that to gay couples either. If they want to be with eachother and like eachother, by God, let them.

Third, how the hell are they hurting society? If you don't like it, don't pay attention to it. It's like saying some style of clothing is hurting society. As far as I know, gays aren't making the economy fluctuate. They aren't causing huge wars or continental annihilation. We're all still alive and we're going about our lives, even with gays in the community.

I say just let them be. Jesus. If you believe they're going to hell, go ahead and believe that. You aren't, so you shouldn't give a stuff about them.

That's going to change. Most of our products in the US are from China, right? China currently supports North Korea's move to build nuclear weapons and endanger Asia. If China doesn't cut off Korea's electricity, were going to war with both Korea and China. Many countries have other country's backs, I smell WWIII.

But it hasn't changed, dumbass.  Gay marriage can change, too.  You're quite the hypocrite.

Stop having an opinion.
China right now is more of a threat economically than militarily. And throught the economy, everything travels in cycles, it is inevitable that the US will lose its standing as the economic leader of the world.
Stopping all foriegn trade is probably the stupidist move anyome could make. I forgot the exact percentage but foriegn trade accounts for maybe 25% of all US transactions. Cutting all that out.. well just look at every item in your room that says "made in china" or taiwan or anything. Also look at all those items that use things from other contries, say a poster is made in the US but the ink on it is from India.

being gay is a choice
No, It was proven to be genetic and developed during a stage in the development of the hormonal regions of the brain. You don't know anything.

You guys are friends.

In a sense, it is, as you can choose to deny attraction, though it will probably have adverse effects on your psyche.

You guys are friends.
And?

You guys are friends.
Haha, calling us friends because we can disprove your theories.  I think it's time for you to leave the forum, sir.

I smell WWIII.
Gotta love the smell of napalm in the morning.

Nice last defense.

Is that quote from Full Metal Jacket?

I'm not sure, I remember it from somewhere.

I personally think being gay is a choice, even if it is genetic.

However, I still believe gays should be able to marry. Just because they can change does not mean they should, it does not mean they want to, and it certainly doesn't mean they will.

If they like other men, why would they go through the trouble to change their opinions? That's like someone who hates mushrooms and loves strawberries walking up a 10 mile high mountain to get a mushroom to eat when there's a huge strawberry patch right next to his house. It's pointless, time consuming, and more disappointing than if he'd just stayed home.

Another thing; honestly, until you people come up with a valid reason as to why gays should not be allowed to marry, shut up. (And by valid reason, I mean something along the lines of "When gays marry they cause a nuclear explosion!" not "Gay people make AIDS and straight people are immune to it!")
