Every Add-On, script or w/e in the game runs in TorqueScript.
The Add-On you were using that you said uses @ as a command line is just using a different command line, like CityRP, and which is stupid.

Actually, it detects if you say @ at the beginning of your sentence, it's not a new server command symbol. You need to code, and you probably won't understand it so... I'm not even going to explain it
