Author Topic: Blockland for Wii  (Read 6403 times)

In my opinion I would rather have a handheld device that allows me to play Blockland even if its huge and bulky, or can't connect to the internet. Because there is no point in playing it on a television at home when your can just use you computer besides it doesnt matter what anyone really thinks of the idea of it being on the Wii because Badspot would then have to set up a contract with Nintendo which I highly dought would ever happen when theres a larger chance he could produce his own handheld system....either way I wouldnt get anyones hopes up for the Wii coming out of in anyother form...

Sorry, but i have to agree with tails here. The game would be extremely intricate, wouldn't make a lot of money for Badspot himself, and would take an awful long time to be made (As in coded/scripted/whatever you do for console games) And then afterwards, it would cost money to be made into disk and even if the game DID get onto the Wii, you would have no way of having Add-Ons, so that means no new weapons, maps, music, or RTB. Rather boring if you ask me.
mabye you could use an SD card to get mods on wii, and it would be better. on the dark side though, it would be a long process, and who said all computers have  an SD card slot?
also, think about how LONG it takes to make a videogame. it can take YEARS before it hits the shelves!
another thing is that who wants this game (witch would probabally have a huge file size) soaking up they`re console`s memory like a sponge? no one! and 1 more thing: each time a new version comes out, you`d have to buy a completly new disk!
there, i made my point.

that program i tried is stuff
but i found a different program, wiiji.
this one is way better, way more dependable, and less messy. i have successfuly made controls for the virtual console controller. i would use the vc controller for moving the player and looking, and the wiimote on its side for building(the vc controller is connected to the wiimote through a cord.

so i can now pretty much, play blockland on the wii remote

It looks pretty confusing with the controls

Now the question is: How2use xbox controller with PC?

Wired Controller > USB

Wireless Controller > Xbox 360™ Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows® > USB

Wired Controller = USB.

Add-ons can be released via Wii Store, Playstation network, and Xbox live Store

Me and Marcem were talking about this:
RTB could be used in a way to download add-ons.

Yea that could be another way

the wii wouldnt have enought buttons and badspot would not allow it anyway....
