Author Topic: Suggest a Game for me.  (Read 2379 times)

->Before you post read the requirements<-

1. It can't be M rated. I already tried convincing my parents with Fallout 3, I doubt Half-Life, Bioshock, or L4D would work.  They are strongly against: language and loveual themes, but not so much on violence and blood.

2. It must rather be for PC or Wii.  Sorry I don't have a X-Box or a PS3.

I realized these 2 things take out most options.

I'm looking for something thats complex, no Mario Kart, or etc.  I want something along the lines of a Action RPG (such as Fallout 3 is).  Multiplayer would be good, but is not needed.  It doesn't have to be online either, actually I'm tired with playing beside all these jerks.

Good luck, hopefully someone comes up with one.

Would a MMO be good?
are you willing to spend money?

I'm looking for a game, too.  Same requirements.

No MMO's I could spend money.

I would be ok with one, but I'm getting tired of them.  Also my computer takes forever to download stuff so plz don't give me something that takes up alot of space.  Money wise sure.

oh and what games do you own and/or played at a point

For MMOs, lets see Runescape got me started (I hate that game now). Then I tried PotCO (Pirates of the Carribean Online) that was ok for awhile.  My cousin suggested Toontown, which fails and shouldn't even ve considereed a MMO.  Theres AoT which I'm just got done with.  I'm not sure if Blockland ever really counted, probably not.  Other than that nothing really.

I don't really want to get into another MMO, because I will get addicted and waste my life when I could be playing a funner game (aka waste my life in a funner way).

if your looking for a good puzzle game, i suggest world of goo, you can buy it on steam, i have it, it has a desent story line, and its fun, look it up on steam
(no gore or blood or nothing.)

I was going to suggest Combat Arms since you can customize your own weapons and fight other players, or play a co-op mode, but, you said no long downloads so I guess that wouldn't work. GMod is pretty fun. It's a sandbox game.

I've heard of that game looks a bit fun.

I could download it, thing is if I start at lets say 10:00 it will probably be about 3:30 when its done.  Doesn't G-Mod require a base game such as Half-Life or Portal?

Anyway here's a question:  LoZ, Twilight Princess is it fun/worth it?

Never tried any of them.

And yes, it does. You could buy GMod and HL2DM like I did for only $15, if you can convince your parents.

EDIT: Look at the gameplay video at http://combatarms.nexon.net/Intro.aspx to see if it looks good for you.

if your going to get a pack get G-mod and TF2, it does have guns, but nothing on the list above, yes the guys explode and there limbs goes over the place, but what does that prove?

Half life has very few curse words and no loveual content, but a lot more gore and violence.

And yes, Twilight Princess is worth it.

Combat Arms looks good.

and Well

Fallout 3: Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, loveual Themes, Strong Language, Use of Drugs (could it get worse)

Half-Life: Blood and Gore, Intense Violence  (a bit better)

Might work, probably not though.  Wasn't Half-Life + G-Mod how they made Half Life Full Life Consequeces.
