I see what you mean by Halo not fitting in with Blockland. I'm only doing this for my own learning purposes, after that I'll start making block styled models.

I've been reading through some of the nooby Halo requests and other things, and a couple of posts state that they get angry over Halo because too many noobs request Halo stuff or make low quality Halo stuff. I guess that won't be a problem if I can directly convert anything out of Halo, I'll be self sufficient, and if anyone actually wants me to release anything Halo 1 related (I doubt it), I'll be able to get the original high quality models from in-game.

That's from Halo 2, but luckily some people converted it to Halo 1 Custom Edition a while back, so I can get you a slightly different looking but basically same beam rifle.

Anyway I gotta sleep, it's sleep time here in Australia (12:21 AM).

Porting things directly from other games and releasing them is not a good thing. They never fit in the Blockland theme and the scripts are always derived right out of the normal gun script.

I love how introductions are crazy in this forum. If you type well, and you aren't a moron, everyone instantly is cheerful towards you; however if you're a moron and it shows, people will flame you like there's no tomorrow.

Also porting things directly from games is a good learning experience, but the blockland community would probably enjoy actually modeled blocky weapons that resemble it, it's better looking than ported models.
