My PS3 doesn't read blu-ray games

this been happening  a lot lately, but we just take it apart and clean it,
well last time my dad cleaned it because it wasn't work, it wasn't dirty, so he cleaned it any way, but it never worked after that, he knows PS3 top and bottom, and he wouldn't touch what he shouldn't, anyway, what do you think is wrong with me PS3

yeah, we don't play it that offend for it to overheated

when you turn it on does it turn on and do nothing? but does make a sound?

It still runs, it still plays ps2,ps1, and CDS, no blu-ray movies, and i can play any downloaded things i have, and no it doesn't make a sound, it only beeps once and turns off, like always

i think you have to set it up and yours plays ps2 games so lucky

This happened to me when I bought my PS3. Try it with different PS3 games and Blu-ray discs and if it doesn't work, exchange it for another PS3. It's kind of common with the PS3, but unlike the Xbox 360's RROD, it usually happens within the warranty, and the next one you get will most likely be fine.

Yeah with 360 you get the RRoD a week after the warranty is up
