The Load menu's dates always show "11/31/69 18:00:19". I've only had this problem on my Mac.

Yeah, I loaded a pre-made save and it still did that, but lagged alot.

ive had that problem and the streaking problem since v11
but the streaking problem was soo bad in v11 i wasnt really concerned about that problem

I have the smae problem, and i  have re-downloaded the game like 4 times now, it does not fix it.

Yes, about 4 times,I've tried updating my drivers as well.

Restart your computer, it's the best option and has worked for me before.
It's caused by your graphics card. Probably is getting too hot.
