Author Topic: Any good alien, vampire, werewolf, zombie, ect. movies?  (Read 4307 times)

A good vampire movie I enjoy a lot is called "Shadow of the Vampire" Starring Willem Dafoe. It is a story based on the old Nosferatu film and how it would have happened if the movie was filmed using a "real" vampire. Truly classic and epic.

Underworld, Blade, or if you're a real man: Bram Stroker's Dracula.

Shaun of the Dead is a good comedy twist to the movie Dawn of the Dead. Loved the part when they where killing the Bartender zombie to the beat to Don't stop me now.

The Day the Earth Stood Still is good for people who have never seen the original or read the book.

War of the Worlds was a decent take of the book from another's perspective.

Alien series.
Do it. Now! Also watch the Predator series.

Twilight
Nuff said.

Night of the Living Dead good for a late night watch if you like older movies.

I am Legend has only two things wrong with it.
SPOILER
They did not go into detail on what created the zombies or why. THey just mention it was due to some cure for a disease.

Dawn of the Dead is a more modern "yet another typical zombie movie". Now with more "dogs can live".

Also a note to the title, It could fit better if it was titled "Any good creature movies?"

30 days of Night is pretty good.

John Romero's Dawn of the Dead is a fantastic movie, I have it on DVD. Even Maddox said it was loving amazing.

Everybody I asked said it sucked ass.

Just play Dead Space, or look around for dead space stuff. Either there was a movie or a comic after it (or probably  both.)

With the above on the Alien series. If you have not seen it, you should start cutting your wrist.

Well, you did say you wanted a vampire movie, and it's a bit scary to watch, I recommend it.

Yes... Twilight is so scary...

Underworld ftw! Vampires and Lychons :D

Everybody I asked said it sucked ass.

Have you seen it?

It wasn't super scary and pretty predictable, but it was pretty well done.
