My dad got run over by a tractor trailer whilst working at FedEx. The funny thing is it actually helped us in the long run because what it ended up doing is making it so we could sue the guy for 1,000,000 in cash and then now we can buy the house which we desperately needed.
Now he doesn't work, although he can because he's healed up since.
And I literally mean, RUN OVER. He broke all of his bones minus his skull and spinal bones, almost lost his foot but he's okay there now, and he had collapsed/bruised lungs.
He was previously hit by another a couple years before that but he was in his car, thank god.
