I like it pretty detailed. It comes natural, really, I can't really do simple things. I make my stuff really detailed.

I'm too lazy to look too far, but Limpfittz has good builds.

(I just went back a few pages on gallery and looked for the first name I recognized, go figure)

If you have, say, 10,000 bricks, will it lag?

What? He said Windows 98 thats compatible with like everything and ran amazingly, I'm sure Blockland would would run it.

He said he has the worst graphic card ever. If he actually does then it wont run.

The worst graphics card would be.. 4 pixels ._.

"4 pixels" ?

Depends on internet connection, but everyone will start lagging at about 100,000 bricks.

"4 pixels" ?
I think he means a graphics card that only displays 4 pixels.

What? Since when did number of bricks affect server latency? I think you'll find the number of bricks causes people to get lower fps.

Okay, I'm good. Lots of space and fun stuff.

Another question... are there meshes?

It's a 3d game, Of course theirs meshes, That's what 3d is made out of.

everyone lags at 100k?
100k is a joke.
128k is a joke.

the standard modern video card can handle a million faces on screen at once.
how many sides does a brick have? and you cant even see most the faces anyways.
the game only allows 128k but that limit isnt based on lag.

most "large" builds get about 40k bricks and considered done anyways.

its a shame we cant have million bricks, not that most people have the attention span to get that high lol
If Bill Gates played blockland, he would not be satisfied with the brick count.

ive hit 128,000 a few times on my own.
granted that was intense landscapeing work. before badspot saved us with water bricks and cubes lol

The FPS manager pissed me off when I can't even see my own character. That doesn't happen, does it?

You can edit your controls. That way, you can choose a button to switch from 1st-3rd person view. "Tab" is the default switch button.

 Windows 98? Really?
Chances are very good you won't be able to run Blockland, even with minimal details and effects.

Anyway, play the Demo.
