If you're not willing to give your age out, don't use it as a weapon against others. I'm fourteen, big deal. That hardly relates to how valid my opinion is. Also, your original comment:

   Descrimination

   Seemingly every time I look a the forum, there is an example of descrimination. The usual offense takes place when a new person voices his/her opinion in an argument and is replied back to with statements similar to: "Who the hell are you..?" or "You're new here, and your opinion doesn't count." Once again, I hate to burst your bubble, but being in this forum longer then someone else doesn't give you authority over them, nor does it boost your standing in an argument against them. But due to the band-wagoning I mentioned earlier, it usually does help you in an argument due to the ganging up on newer members by the older ones. However, this doesn't make it ok to descriminate against new players or anyone that differs from what you feel like is "accepted". Similarily in game, many older players ban and think less of newer players. Then when the newer players meet even newer players, they follow suite, thus creating a snowball effect of descrimination towards the newer generations, thus propelling this community farther into a state of segregation.

While I do agree that he's wrong, and that these forums do need improvement, there's no reason to declare his opinion invalid simply because of age.

i can see where you're coming from for SOME people, but don't use age as a loving weapon here: there's a bunch of perfectly decent kids and preteens here and it looks like you seem to be grouping everyone with everyone else

It's not necessary; given that you've already stated yours, and I know my own, it would follow that I'm in a much better position than you to make the comparison.

And yes, age/experience is a perfectly valid metric on opinions concerning this kind of thing. Is a 14 year-old's opinion on the economy equally good just because he's read Wikipedia once or twice? You know the answer to that.

In that instance it would be, but that's hardly comparable to one's opinion on some forums about a sandbox game, now is it? You don't need to be knowledgeable about the economy to give your opinion on that.
