Author Topic: My first Blockland-related creation! An oversized segway!  (Read 1667 times)

I've been playing around with Blockland for a few days and have worked out the basics of weapons and vehicles.

I made an oversized segway, which looks sorta blocky, but it doesn't work that well as vehicles with only 2 side by side wheels need special attention or they flip all over the place.

Feel free to comment!

Looks nice! How did you manage to make that? How well does it balance? How fast/tough is is?
Will it be released?

It's really bad at balancing, probably won't be released due to that (unless anyone can provide a little help?).

For a first one, holy stuff.  That's great.  I see a bright future in you :D

A colour range:

Pretty nice.  Have you been updating, because if its good enough, I will be delighted to test it.

This is awesome for a first creation glad to see your getting somewhere :{D

Over sized tires remind me of Axel from Twisted Metal.

it does. we should make some TM vehicles for teh lulz.

That's a pretty awesome off-road segway. You should probably make the handlebars look more "blockland-ish."

Wheels need to be gray-black, though.

can you add an invisible wheel so it balances better? or will that screw things up?

I was thinking of adding a front and rear invisible wheel a few inches off the ground (so you still lean forward when you drive forward), but then I remembered I have no idea how to add a tire different to the one set as default. If anyone could shed some light on this?

You need to have custom tire models and all sorts of jibber jabber.
People like Azerath and I think Bushido know how to do it though - it's robably worth asking them.

I know how to do all that, I just don't know how to have 2 or more types of tires on the one vehicle.
