Pro tip: Thunder/Lightning is bright even if it doesn't hit anything.

Wtf. Was this thread needed? It's pretty obvious theres going to be thunder when on the news it says "ALL OF EAST COAST SHOULD BE EXPECTING HEAVY THUNDA STORMS"

Your a idiot. Do you understand what "later then normal" means?

i've been electrocuted two times (minor)
1) when i was trying to plug in some halloween lights my finger sliped
2) i was holding onto the rope of my tire swing in a lighting storm

I didn't know rope could carry a electrical current

isn't it lighting will go through alot of things to get to the ground?

But rope would just catch fire

i see your point but in the back of my head i just have the right answer... and the cake... and the cure to cancer but i've never gotten back there and never will

Rope is an insulator, not a conductor, therefore I call bullstuff on you.

Could be reinforced with metal or something? I don't know my ropes though...
