Author Topic: IRC QUESTION  (Read 1114 times)

See, I discovered, That if you say /join [name of your own Channel] It apperntly makes a Channel
The question is, Are we allowed to?

People have been doing that forever. Clans use it, or servers, or just anybody.

I don't see why not, If they didn't want it to happen they would not have put it in.

OKAY, Now my question is how do I control it?
Welcomes
Admins
You know stuff Like that.
I wanna make one for my Clan  :cookieMonster:

That, I do not know. And I would also like to know.

Okay guys, Seriously, Doesn't anyone know Admin Commands for Channels?

Any old IRC isn't going to be exactly like the RTB one...

you need to register the channel first before you can do anything

Quote
/msg ChanServ REGISTER channel password description

- "channel" is the name of the channel you want to register, for example "#opera"
- "pass" is a new password, which you will use to verify that you are the right owner of the nick. Do not give your password to anyone else!
- "description" should be a short description what the channel is to be used for

They'll probably be good enough.

But here is the documentation specific to RTB's server.
